The 2023 John Petrucci JP15 "Butterscotch Burl" BFR features a unique combination of tonewoods that make it the gem of any guitar collection. The JP15's highlights start with a richly figured Butterscotch burl top outlined with a thin rosewood veneer that's loaded onto a smooth-sounding Black Limba body. The Black Limba body's backside is adorned with a distinctive, beautiful trans butterscotch satin finish. The neck combines roasted figured maple and a rosewood fretboard with 24 stainless steel frets. Like most JP15 models, this guitar features Dimarzio Illuminator pickups for the neck and bridge, a 20+ dB gain boost, and a super smooth modern tremolo with Schaller locking tuners for ultimate tuning stability. Limited to 100 pieces worldwide, each guitar includes a mono case, a John Petrucci autographed tremolo cavity cover and numbered certificate of authenticity.
